Recurring Classes, Workshops & Events

Monthly, FREE 90 minute lecture and discussion on various topics in Spiritualism are explored on the first Sunday of the month, in-person at the CSE following Sunday services. All are welcome. There is no charge to attend, and no pre-registration required. You may bring a lunch or snack if you wish.

For any level of experience, especially beginners. This 4-week workshop is held in-person at the CSE on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Learn about the history and different types of mediumship and practice developing your own abilities (yes, we ALL have abilities!). Pre-registration is required and non-refundable.  A minimum of 4 participants is required; limit of 12. Workshop offered again later in the year.  Attend as often as you like.

Mediumship is the unfoldment of the individual and the phase of communication from the Spirit side of life.

The two types of mediumship are:

• Mental Mediumship is generally referred to as subjective because it is generally affecting the mental attribute of the Medium and what they receive from spirit is repeated to the sitter.
• Physical Mediumship is generally referred to as objective because it is usually affecting physical objects and can be observed by one or more of the physical senses.

Medium

A Medium is one whose organism is sensitive to the vibrations from the Spirit World and through whose instrumentality intelligence in that world is able to convey messages and produce the phenomena of Spiritualism.

This workshop will guide participants in achieving a creative, meditative state by maintaining a calm, alpha mode for an extended period. It is especially beneficial for those who struggle with traditional seated meditation. By combining meditation with creativity, participants will explore their intuition and imagination in a deeply engaging way. Additionally, participants will learn to tune into their inner voice, preferences, and instincts to create various works of art using a variety of materials. A minimum of six participants is required to hold the workshop. Sessions are conducted in person at the CSE and are open to individuals ages 12 and up.  No experience needed.
