Your Abundance of Spirit Seminar

The CSE presents Your Abundance of Spirit Seminar hosted by Sue Bracey.

This 3-session series is an interactive experience using art (watercolor, sketching, writing and poetry) using Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way. We start with an art experience to introduce ourselves – a brush stroke, a word, a sketch. We explore the spiritual principles relating to the exercise by referring to nature, “making our own happiness or unhappiness”, and meditation. We explore parallels between the art process and spirit manifestation emphasizing the elements of creativity, intuition or ‘from the void’. This is done with participant interaction. Lastly, we form a circle, get quiet/still followed by a group exercise to share insights we receive via the meditation.

These sessions are scheduled as follows.

All sessions are in-person at the CSE, Falls Church, VA from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The cost is $15 per session for CSE Members and $20 per session for Non-Members. All payments

are non-refundable.

Our Hands Are a Gift - Healing Course

Reverend Kathleen Cribb is leading the Healing Workshop

Sunday, April 19, 2026,

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The NSAC definition of a Spiritualist healer is “one who, either through his own inherent powers or through mediumship, is able to impart vital, curative force to pathologic conditions.” Rev. Cribb has designed this class to develop new healers to work during church services and privately at home. Spiritual healing is the foundation of our Spiritualist religion. You will enjoy classroom discussion, a guided meditation, participation in a prayer circle and auric healing demonstration and instruction.

The cost of this workshop is $25 for CSE members and $30 for non-members. Scholarships available upon request.

Weather permitting, this workshop will be in person at the CSE or via Zoom. In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will be held via Zoom.
