As the summer begins to wind down, we wanted to let you know about some great events coming up at our Center this fall!
September Schedule
· September 12-13: Alan Ross will present a slide show based on his book, "Spiritualism and Beyond". Alan has been a Spiritualist since 1982 and is an author, publisher and lecturer on Spiritualism. He has traveled extensively and has given his slide presentation in the UK, the US and Canada. In "Spiritualism and Beyond", Alan traces Spiritualism from its ancient beginning to the advent of Modern Spiritualism and on to its Golden Age.
· September 18: Spiritual Book Presentations and Discussions Group will meet to discuss "The Priest and the Medium" with our own Reverend B. Anne Gehman. Dr. Wayne Knoll will play a double role - that of our group facilitator and co-subject of the book with Rev. Gehman! We're looking forward to a lively discussion!
· September 25-27: Barry Goldstein, Grammy Award-Winning Producer, will be with us all weekend. He will conduct a sound healing circle on Friday evening, be available on Saturday for private, tailored sound healing sessions. After Sunday service, will conduct a session of "Sacred and Inspirational Sound" after lunch. Barry has composed for NBC, ABC, Fox and Lifetime Networks as well as being an award-winning composer for film.
Upcoming October Events
· October 4th: CSE Meetup Discussion Group on the topic of grief and loss from the Spiritualists' perspective. We hope you will join us for this meaningful exchange.
· October 17-18: Al Batten will be presenting a one-day workshop on the trance healing process. Enhance your skills as a healing medium and find out how this process has evolved to new levels with documented results!
CSE Board Meeting
The next CSE board meeting will be held Friday, August 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the CSE building. The board meetings are open to all CSE members. For those who are unable to attend and would like to send any suggestions so that they can be introduced at the meeting, please send email to Shelly Wooldridge, CSE Board President at shelly.wooldridge@gmail.com.
